Dr. Kusum Sharma obtained her M.A., M.Phil (University Topper & Gold Medalist), B.Ed, M.Ed and Ph.D degree from Kurukshetra University. She has worked in prestigious schools and Post-graduate colleges. She has been sportsperson and organized a large number of cultural & sports activities of all the institutions she has worked in. She has earned G-I and G-II certificates (under officer level) in N.C.C. as well.

She has been a very active member of Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Sahitya Parishad, Rajasthan and has held various positions, presently being convener women’s cell and coordinator of activities of the Parishad outside Rajasthan. She has published a number of research papers in reputed journals and magazines and has won many prizes. One of her serials published appeared a Rajasthan daily newspaper every Sunday in around fifty installments. Her reviews on books of eminent authors have regularly been published.

Dr. Kusum Sharma has been associated with the B.Ed course at this college right from its inception and has worked as Acting Principal during the last session. Her missionary zeal for quality education, strict adherence to moral ethical and academic standards and capacity to motivate students and collogues have earned her wide appreciation.
